Description: 2008 HONDA ELEMENT FOR SALE I am truly sad to let her go but my Sprinter has over the last four years been my go to for camping rather than the Honda pop-up. Probably because I’m getting old and lazy. I’ve had and loved this car for 9 years and have done several things to it to make it quite possibly one of the best Element campers you can find. I bought it in 2015 and shortly after that had Ursa Minor put a color matched camper top on it with lights and USB ports up top. Also had a curved Heise light bar installed above the windshield. USB ports in the back of the car behind the rear seats and one in the glove box and on the dash as well. Kenwood stereo touchscreen display with rear view camera, new speakers, tweeters… the whole sound system redone to get rid of the cardboard paper stock speakers. Then about 4 years ago I had an Aerogenics 2” lift kit professionally installed with a 2” engine drop so as not to risk messing with the axle or CV angle. Its been great and love the lift when camping! No issues with it. Other than the camper itself that was the best mod. This allowed me to also run a bigger tire and I have P235/70R16 tires on Black Fuel wheels with a whole lot of tread left. I’m told I could go even bigger if I shaved some wheel well plastic but I haven’t considered that so far. I buffed the headlights and put Auxbeam lights in which might be my least favorite mod because they are so bright that one out of ten cars assumes I’m brighting them so that can get annoying for them and me. If you like them keep them, easy and cheap to go back to a regular head light. I hard wired a wire to the Jeep Optima battery I have in it and that allows me to use a solar trickle charger when/if it sits. (For the last few years I’ve kept the car in Oregon for work and sometimes will go three weeks between my work trips.) Starts great every time. The pop top roof has Yakima rack rods. The camper bed cushions and canvas tent are in great shape and everything works. Gobi ladder on the back for access into the camper or through hatch inside the car. AWD goes great on dirt roads or snowy roads. It has 153,000 miles. Engine regularly serviced at dealer and timing chain done. Minimal wear on drivers seat with no tears and the other three seats are in good shape. I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot but it’s been nine years of trying to make her perfect and I’ve really enjoyed having her. I hope whoever buys her has as much enjoyment with this car. She has been both my daily driver and camper car for the majority of the nine years I’ve owned her. email with any questions. Clean title in hand. $24,900 OBO
