Description: Perfect Element for your camping conversion. Nearly all maintenance records back to 2003. The vehicle is in good shape and still regularly driven. The vehicle runs well and has been well maintained over the the years. We're the second owners, having owned it now for 14 years.
Highlights include:
1. Brand new battery
2. Nearly new tires (less than 8,000 miles on them)
3. Original tailgate seat back accessory (see pics)
4. Handmade (not fancy, just made at home) window covers for all windows except the front window - so you can camp in it overnight with privacy!
5. Original screen cover for moonroof
6. All original floor mats with Element branding
7. Table kit adapter included.
8. Rear seats in good shape and still easily come in and out.
9. Drivers seat armrest still attached and working well.
10. Original luggage racks included.
11. Uhaul 2" hitch added in 2009.
12. Plastic is in good shape on outside. Been polished regularly.
Challenges :
1. Original radio still installed but hasn't worked in years! Even have the code.
2. One piece of the side trim on driver door is loose, but needs to be 'tightened up".
3. Original Element-branded running boards still in use, but could use some touch up
4. Scratches on doors
5. Minor hail damage on hood. Have to look at it just right to see them
6. Some minor damage on front edge of hood where bug screen was originally attached
7. Front seats cracked. Drive seat especially shows wear thought it does have a cover. Passenger seat has some cracking.
8. Can't unlock from drivers door. Key gets jammed. Neither key fob works anymore.
9. Headlights could use some work. They've gotten 'smoky' over the years. 1
0. Running lights are present but bulbs have burned out some time ago. Just never put energy into fixing it.
11. One piece of trim over passenger air vent broke off. Still have piece and could be re-attached.
Again, just haven't put energy into fixing it. It has been a great vehicle for many, many trips with our family over the years. We are selling just because we figure someone else will really appreciate it and enjoy it!
